🎬 A NEW CHAPTER — FILM, LONDON & NEW FORMAT
🎬 A NEW CHAPTER — FILM, LONDON & NEW FORMAT
After several years of education, creative projects, travelling across the UK and building the foundations of our own business, my brother Kamil Prochazka and I are entering a new chapter.
After completing our studies in Media & Communication and Media Production, we have decided to take the next step and move further into Film & Television Production.
Over the past few years, we have explored different areas of media and production, developed practical skills, worked on creative projects and gained experience that helped us understand where we want to take our careers.
Now, we want to develop across the entire filmmaking process:
🎥 Film & Television Production
🎬 Directing & Producing
🎭 Acting
📹 Cinematography
✂️ Editing & Post-Production
📝 Storytelling & Screenwriting
📺 Media & Content Production
💻 Technology and digital media
🎓 Choosing the next step
We had several university opportunities available to us, including offers from:
• University of Westminster
• University of East London (UEL)
• University of Roehampton
• Middlesex University London
• University for the Creative Arts (UCA)
After considering the different opportunities, locations and long-term career possibilities, we decided to continue our journey in London and focus our education and professional development on film.
We will reveal more details about this new chapter very soon. 🎬
🇬🇧 More than university
Our journey has never been only about education.
During the last few years, we have also spent significant time travelling throughout England and Scotland, experiencing different parts of the United Kingdom and learning more about the country in which we want to build our future careers.
At the same time, we have been preparing for something of our own.
💼 NEW FORMAT
Together, we are directors of New Format Limited, a company we have been developing alongside our education and creative work.
Our goal is to combine our interests in:
🎬 Film & Television
🎮 Gaming
🌍 Travel
🇬🇧 Life in the United Kingdom
💻 Technology
📺 Media
🎭 Acting
💼 Entrepreneurship
We want New Format to become a platform through which we can develop our own creative and business projects while documenting the experiences that come with building a career in the UK.
More of our work and projects can be found at:
🚀 What comes next?
From tomorrow, we are entering a much more active phase.
We will be documenting our development, university life, filmmaking journey, business activities, travels and experiences of building a creative career in the United Kingdom.
The last few years were about learning, experimenting and preparing.
The next few years will be about creating, producing and building.
A new city.
A new university.
A new direction.
New projects.
But the same team:
Dawid & Kamil.
🎬 Film. London. New Format.
This is only the beginning.
