🤝 WAYS TO WORK WITH NEW FORMAT

We are interested in several forms of collaboration.

Footage Licensing

Companies, publishers and media organisations may enquire about licensing selected New Format footage for their own productions, websites, news coverage, social media or other authorised uses.

Non-Exclusive Licensing

A client receives permission to use selected material under agreed conditions while New Format retains the ability to use and license the material elsewhere.

Exclusive Licensing

For selected productions, we can discuss exclusive usage rights for a specified project, market, territory, platform or period.

Editorial Licensing

Footage from events, exhibitions, technology demonstrations, gaming culture and other relevant subjects may be made available for approved editorial use.

Commercial Licensing

Where all necessary rights and permissions are available, selected material may be licensed for advertising, campaigns, websites, corporate communications and other commercial applications.

Event Production & Coverage

We can collaborate with event organisers and partners to create interviews, B-roll, highlights, social clips, reports and longer-form coverage.

Commissioned Video Production

Brands and organisations can approach New Format about creating original video specifically for their project or campaign.

Branded Content & Partnerships

We are open to appropriate partnerships involving technology, gaming, film, media, education and the creative industries.

Media & Press Collaboration

Publishers and media organisations can contact us regarding footage, interviews, event coverage and original reporting.

Post-Production & Content Packages

Depending on the project, collaboration can include editing, multiple versions, social-media cuts, subtitles, intros/outros and delivery in different formats.

Archive & B-Roll Licensing

As our archive grows, selected footage may become available for licensing independently from the original finished production.

🎮 GAMEPLAY & THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Gaming footage requires particular care.

New Format can create and distribute original gameplay and gaming journalism, but games, characters, music, trademarks and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Any commercial licensing involving third-party intellectual property is therefore subject to the relevant publisher, developer, platform and rights-holder policies.

The same principle applies to events, music, performances, artwork, trademarks and other protected material appearing within a production.

Purchasing or receiving a licence to use a New Format production does not automatically transfer ownership of the copyright.

A licence grants only the rights specifically agreed for that project. Depending on the agreement, this may define:

• permitted platforms

• commercial or editorial use

• duration of the licence

• territories

• exclusivity or non-exclusivity

• modification/editing rights

• redistribution rights

• attribution requirements

• advertising and promotional use

Unauthorised copying, re-uploading, resale, sublicensing, redistribution, extraction or commercial exploitation of New Format original material is not permitted unless authorised by New Format Limited or otherwise permitted by law.

Third-party copyrights, trademarks, music, game content and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
