A NEW CHAPTER. A NEW CITY. NEW CHALLENGES.
A NEW CHAPTER. A NEW CITY. NEW CHALLENGES.
After the past few years of studying, working on projects, travelling, gaining experience and preparing for our next step, we can finally say: we are starting a new chapter.
Together with my brother, Kamil Prochazka, we are completing another stage of our education. Starting tomorrow, we will be stepping further into the worlds of film, media, business and life in the United Kingdom.
Over the past two years, we have developed our skills through studies in Media & Communication and Media Production, gaining experience in both creative and production work. Now, we have decided to take the next step and move towards Film & Television Production.
We want to develop our skills across every stage of filmmaking — from ideas and screenwriting through production, cinematography and editing to directing, acting, post-production and working on professional film sets.
For us, this is more than another university course.
It is the next stage of a journey we have been building for several years.
Several opportunities. One decision.
Recently, we had the opportunity to consider several universities and courses. We received offers from institutions including:
• University of Westminster
• University of East London (UEL)
• University of Roehampton
• Middlesex University London
• University for the Creative Arts (UCA)
• Richmond American University London
We explored different options, comparing courses, locations, career prospects and opportunities for development.
Ultimately, we chose London and the opportunity to continue developing our filmmaking skills.
We do not want to reveal everything just yet.
We will keep some of the details as a surprise for now.
But London is about more than university.
It also means new opportunities, new connections, new projects and the chance to become more involved in the British film and media industries.
We want to make the most of what London has to offer — both during our studies and beyond university.
Film sets.
Production.
Acting.
Editing and post-production.
Media.
Games and gaming culture.
Travel.
Content creation.
Business.
Projects involving travel around the United Kingdom.
That is why, starting tomorrow, we want to become even more active.
NEW FORMAT
At the same time, we continue to develop our company, New Format Limited, where we both serve as directors.
We do not want our studies to put our other projects on hold.
Quite the opposite.
We want to bring education, film, business, media, travel and new technologies together into a larger project.
Across our channels and websites, you will see more content covering:
Films and television series
Games
Life in the United Kingdom
Travel around England and Scotland
Film production
Technology and equipment
Running a company
Our experiences with business, finance and taxes
Acting
Media
Travel and life beyond a conventional routine
We want to show you the journey as well as the finished result.
THE PAST FEW YEARS
The past few years have involved much more than studying.
We also spent a significant amount of time travelling around Scotland and England, exploring the United Kingdom, gaining experience and seeing life and work here from a different perspective.
Alongside this, we were laying the foundations for our own business.
We built projects, websites and a portfolio, developed our production, editing and media skills, tested new ideas and considered the direction we wanted to take.
Today, we know much more than we did a few years ago.
We also know that we want to create, rather than simply watch.
NEW FORMAT
One of the places where we will share our upcoming projects is:
This is just the beginning.
Over time, we want New Format to become a space that brings together film, media, travel, gaming, technology, culture and our own projects.
We will build it all step by step.
—
Tomorrow, we begin our next chapter.
A new university.
A new environment.
A new city.
New experiences.
New projects.
But still the same team — Dawid & Kamil.
Thank you to everyone who has been with us throughout the earlier stages of our journey.
Now, something new begins.
Film. London. New Format. Travel. Business. Life in the UK.
And this time, we intend to share much more with you.
This is just the beginning.

🚀 We’re launching NewFormat on Patreon!
After a longer period of developing the project, we’re officially moving into the next stage and opening up the possibility to support us on Patreon:
NewFormat is a space where we’ll be regularly talking about films and games — without restrictions, without forced marketing, and without shaping content just for algorithms. We want to create a place for real conversations about what actually matters to us: from cinema releases and classics, to the latest games, gaming trends, and the broader creative industry.
Patreon allows us to grow this project in a sustainable way. With your support, we can:
🎬 create more content about films and games
🎮 develop new formats and series
💬 produce deeper, longer discussions and analyses
🚀 invest in better quality and equipment
Every bit of support genuinely helps us build NewFormat as an independent project that grows together with its community.
If you’re into films, games, and honest conversations about media and culture — we’d be really happy to have you with us ❤️
Thanks, and see you in NewFormat!
